Trained by  Grand Master Yamaguchi,  other masters, and his sons (special training with Gōsen Yamaguchi) for 8 hrs a day 7 days a week for 3 months solid from 26 Nov 1981 to 25 February  1982 (i.e. equivalent to 3.8 years part time).

Traveled as back packer survivalist explorer to Guam, Ponape (survival expedition to Nan Madol Island), Marshal Island, Nauru.

Became a Piano Bar entertainer in a circuit that took in Perisher Valley Hotel (resident), Thredbo Alpenhorn Lodge (resident), Sydney (various piano bar venues including Crows Nest, Sheilas, Air Crew Bar, Pauls, Australian Youth Hotel, The Junction, Stars Junction and the Gold Coast (Broad Beach International Hotel). South Africa - January 1984.
Collaborated  with Chartered Accountant G. Blake, Barclays Bank (Durban) and Graham Turner director of  Melitco in Vanuatu to develop a South African Reserve Bank approved system of moving money from the South Africa Exchange controlled jurisdiction. This was achieved by establishing inter vivos trusts in South Africa and beneficiary discretionary  trusts and Vanuatu.

  5. Headed up an actio popularis Commission of Inquiry authorised by Judge H Mall of the Supreme Court of South Africa.
  6. ​Collaborated with the Chairman of the JSC to introduce new laws for vetting judges in RSA.

  8. The commission investigated both Military and National Intelligence agencies.
  9. Acted in private as well as public interest cases in the High Court and the Constitutional Court of South Africa.
  10.  Constitutional Court arguments and pleadings were used by several students from various  universities in support of their theses for  PhD's.  Said arguments were regarded as a thesis by Professors Matlotlo and Ncube of the Holy Nation Bible College under the Auspices of the Arlington University, and they subsequently bestowed an Honorary Doctorate in Ecclesiastic Law at the annual graduation ceremony of their combined Colleges in Pietermaritzburg in 2001. Subsequently invited to address various institutions and churches. 
  11. Started the Johns Walk Eco Resort Project on the Mahamba Mountains in Swaziland. Won several Supreme Court cases in Swaziland (see pages 6 to 16)  against various organs of state and about 20 other respondents collectively represented by an ex Minister of Justice and their senior Supreme Court advocate who was the chairman of the Human Rights Law Commission in Swaziland at the time.  
  12. Collaborated with Southern African corporate and government banks as well as UN aid agencies in Strategic Planning, developing, implementing and managing projects such as detailed in web links named  "GDP Project" (Strategic overview). Was invited to address the Project Finance World Conference chaired by Dr. Ken Kwaku of the World Bank's Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency as keynote speaker (see "World Bank Presentation" for presentation details)
  13. Commenced a Charter yacht operation in Richards Bay licenced for charter trips South of the equator.  Licensed by SAMSA as a passenger vessel captain for sail and power under 100 tons. AMSA equivalent is Master 24m. Collaborated with Gert Le Roux of Umhambi Lodge in providing whale watching tours under license in Richards Bay. The yacht Sweet Waters was used in shooting two movies (Empire of the Sharks and Six Headed Shark Attack.) for director Mark Atkins in Cape Town. Was commissioned to do the Marine Refit of ex Navy minesweeper Venture II in Hout Bay. Delivered vessel to Cape town where it was used by Netflix in their series entitled "The Crown".
  14. Am the administrator of the page "Noise Control SA" on Face book which deals with the international Noise Control Regulations developed by the UN's WHO.
  15. Won several significant cases under the World Heath Organisation`s Noise Control Regulations in Richards Bay against major developers, restaurants and night clubs, obtained protection orders and provisional warrants against the Harbour Master, Tug Masters, National Port's Authority CEO, CEO of the Municipality and Water Police Officer Commanding.   16. Produced several reports and books covering the topics of policing noise nuisance, locus standi in public interest cases, actio popularis litigation, Ecclesiastical law, separation between church and state, international salvage law, South African Land Reform, influences by national and military intelligence organisations as well as members of secret societies in judicial administration in South Africa. Australia - 25 April 2018
In early 2018 I signed over my entire estate to a calumniation obsessed ex that seemed intent on engaging in a protracted divorce.
  • Please accept my apologies for the extensive links in this overview. These are supplied to enable people to ascertain the facts supporting the assertions made here and so as to enable people to fact check those who have embarked on a campaign of calumniation aforementioned. Police clearances are available from both countries.  
In April 2018 I returned to Australia to regain some financial independence by planning to re-enter the financial services sector that I was in before.            Australian Obsessive Compulsive Regulation Disorder
                                               (OCRD)
  1. In order to to renew the ACIP certification and Dealers Rep status that I had attained when last in Australia, ASIC required a graduate and post graduate degree. They justified this by referring to the findings of the banking commission finalised in 2018. ASIC clearly cannot separate or even comprehend the difference between performance and educational certification. Neither the funding nor the time required was available for that.
  2. ASIC also declined to acknowledge any of the work that I did abroad with UN aid agencies in the Land reform sector in Africa.
  3. The Australian Institute of Business then invited me to do an MBA through them. When I asked for the syllabus  so that I could prepare for the exams, they required $45,000 and two years full time tuition. Neither the funds nor the time were available to me. It was clearly not about protecting the public against bad advice but more about the money.
  4. AMSA would also not convert my commercial UN / IMO endorsed charter licenses for sail and power under 100 Ton, or recognize my substantial commercial logbook. They required me to develop an Australian based log and then obtain a Coxswains followed by a Master 24 from scratch. AMSA does not recognise any prior learning and experience. Neither the money nor the time was available to enable me to comply with those demands.
  5. The attitudes manifested by ASIC and AMSA have been described by several prominent international lawyers as myopic, ignorant, sadistic and a gross violation of fundamental rights. Those lawyers and even a prominent CEO of several Australian businesses and foundations urged me to sue for the trauma caused by the fundamental rights abuses inherent in their conduct. This following a substantial report submitted to COACT that also includes some basic research on grounds for such a case. Neither the time or the funding was available to me in that regard.     
  6. Besides, the inclination to spend many years in litigation in a country besotted with everything Lord Wolf condemned on his report of 1996 would simply amount to a criminal waste of time and energy. Especially for someone suffering from DCFS.
  7. Ironically, it has since emerged that New Zealand would have readily converted the above licences whereupon Australia would have ready converted the Australian versions. Some so bizarre that it simply underscores the follies of over-regulation for what it is. Abuse of power.

  • Taking the time to read this paper will explain may aspects depicted and implicit on this page. It will provide insight as to how I ended up with DCFS and had to resort to Social Security assistance. Why it was necessary to escape such an oppressive and dangerous regime, so dangerous to health and financial freedom. With respect to the r the draft pleadings featured here its adds even more impetus to why he now resides in Vanuatu, a country that will not persecute, try and imprison and even eliminate him because of him exercising his fundament right to freedom of thought and belief where it threatens nothing except the preconceived perceptions and bias of others.

As a result, I collaborated with Graeme Sawers as an independent contractor for the construction of  RSPCA facility in Cairns and later in Toowoomba. 
Development of business ideas
During that time I helped my RSPCA business colleague Graeme Sawers, to develop Accommodation-Care.
Also became a partner with Graeme in an invention regarding household sanitation and sterilization of dishcloths.
The latter initiative seeks to attract a manufacturer in the household appliance sector that has an appetite to exploit opportunities in home and hospital hygiene.
Entertainment
Due to my previous experience in the 1980's as a Piano bar entertainer in the likes of the Alpenhorn Lodge in Thredbo and the Perisher Valley hotel as well as the piano bar circuit of Sydney, I created the piano bar development web page at  Zakslab

             Strategies for recovery of financial independence
  1. In 2020 I completed a NEIS program in order to develop a business plan for a new venture called Mobi Door, which is to become a franchise.  Collaboration with an international financial planning group, an accounting firm facilitating cross jurisdictional retirement fund transfers and business immigration from South Africa has been established. 
  2. The Gladstone region is poised for new developments and expansions in mining, solar and gas power. Negotiated with Australian prospects and potential business immigrants  from South Africa under the Mobidoor strategic overview guidelines. 
  3. Riots following the incarceration of ex president Zuma in South Africa led to the destruction of a shopping centre belonging to a prospect who wanted to purchase all the franchise rights for Sydney. Their insurers repudiated based on a political riot exclusion. The prospective investor committed suicide after his wife left with all his furniture and children.
                                       Sabotage of Health

  1. These strategies were further severely compromised by a rapid deterioration in a medical condition that I inherited from Africa called Rickettsia, which is akin to Rocky Mountain Fever and Lyme disease. The condition manifests as debilitating CFS.  In my case, tried and tested treatment regimes held it in check for some 20 years.
  2. The deterioration was caused by Australia's Obsessive regulation regime's spurred on by the COVID19 emergency management overreach that culminated in the actual banning of basic treatment regimes such as simple prophylactics like HCQ and widely used anti-parasitical treatments like Ivermectin. The banned treatments are used in both conditions. Incredibly, neither Lyme disease nor Rickettsia was recognized as a debilitating condition in Australia at that time. These developments resulted in a downward spiral in the condition which quickly became impossible to manage, causing almost permanent debilitation and necessitating the reluctant accessing of Centrelink`s Job Seeker program as a safety net. 
  3. Subsequently, some of the medication like (HCQ) was unbanned in April/May 2022. Resultant recovery now enables me to function between debilitating cycles. Eventually Ivermectin was also unbanned. As it turned out these medications were banned to enable the emergency management measures that justified the rolling out of the experimental treatments erroneously labelled and forcefully mandated as vaccines. 
  4. My risk of adverse reactions to mRNA based treatments and experimental pseudo vaccines were at levels, so unacceptably high that it would have been suicidal to participate in those experiments. Moreover, disability policies installed to mitigate such risks regarding my debts in South Africa were to be repudiated by those insurers should I have participated in the mandates rolled out by the Australian government. The Australian government refused to provide any exemptions. Thus effectively banning me from doing gigs, contract work or any other meaningful employment.
  5. ​As a result, for a while there I lived in a barn on a farm in order to escape the almost fanatical persecution of anyone resisting vaccine and mask mandates.
  6. The unbanning of the medication and recent lifting of mandates enabled me to do the odd gig and start quoting for maintenance work with real estate agents etc. 
  7. In late 2023, I embarked on a business trip to South Africa during which time I was retested by the only laboratory acceptable to my specialist physician in Johannesburg. The tests revealed that the condition had deteriorated very significantly with Lyme disease and Q fever added to the mix.

Initiatives 
  1. During the period of the mandates and banned medication, I commenced three new initiatives ​(one in the public interest and two commercial). These initiatives will require vast funding. A USA foundation which coordinating avenues of collaboration with other USA based trusts and foundations got involved. These efforts anticipated results by November 2024.  A great deal of preparatory work was done to position the initiatives for that possible outcome, which includes pivoting the deployment of the project in Vanuatu instead of Australia. This decision is based on the development of draconian laws that seek to have persons labelled as domestic terrorists that are critical and or distrust  woke neo-liberalism, big government, big pharma, mainstream media, censorship, study common law critiques of corporate administrative legal frameworks, expose administrative corruption and are premillennialists, necessitated the draft application detailed at https://irff.online/APFiles/R&DforHighCourtApplication.pdf​

Until such time as a franchisee arrangement develops with Mobidoor or the funding clears for the above-mentioned initiatives, and in the absence of any further restrictive emergency management mandates, the strategy was to simply do handyman type maintenance work and as many music/entertainment engagements as possible. As most readers will appreciate, there are precious few organizations in the Australian economy that can deal with any contributions to their company that are not strictly regulations and roster based. It truly is a national obsession. The ability to exercise common sense having been effectively negated.
  4. in due course I assisted some friends with the refit of a luxury catamaran yacht and later a small (Grady White) private fishing boat. During the course of the latter, the owner suggested I draft a proposal to the patent holder for distribution rights to Southern Africa of the newly developed and very innovative anchor called the Boomer all terrain Anchor because of its ability to be retrieved without causing damage to coral reefs. That proposal succeeded and led to the development of M&I International Distribution. A prominent funding partner joined the partnership and the business was developed with the help of various government organisations such as the departments of Trade and Industry and Export, Chambers of Commerce, patent offices, financial institutions, and venture capital groups, to the ends of strengthening the manufacturing and export sectors. It was to be developed into a Pty Limited Company with the mission statement of facilitating the worldwide distribution, manufacture, and export of innovative and revolutionary products developed in Australia.  Distribution agreements to Dubai and USA were pursued.

Attended to M&I marketing strategies, litigation  assistance, (one curtailed, one ongoing), establishment of MOU`s and Distribution rights of energy sector related products. 
Discovered, as Elon Musk did, that the South Africa BBEE policies make it impossible for foreign entities to do business there on equitable grounds. A purely racist policy dressed up as restitution that President Trump and many others also criticised.

  2. Accepted the mandate to move my partner in M&I International Distribution and family to Vanuatu.

Drafted a Concept Note and JV proposal on behalf of DPD to commence the initial application to an international fund for a project aimed at supplying off grid power to schools on an island impacted by a recent volcanic eruption.
​This application, assisted by an prominent ex government official, will be accompanied by the endorsements of the Vanuatu Director of Energy, the Minister of Education and the Islands Commissioner. A Final submission was made after extensive edits and enormous efforts by everyone involved on 28 April.

On 25 April 2018, I return to Australia and had to start over from scratch.
(With two suit cases, a laptop, my certificates and records and about AUD $1,200).
Only to be subjected to incredible abuse by the Obsessive Compulsive Regulation Disorder (OCRD) that has Australia so firmly in its grip. (Australia being known world-wide as a `nanny state` because of the inherent, almost fanatical, never-ending legislation to such ends). The follies of selecting to regulate through rule instead of common sense policing has arguably never been more clearly illustrated than in Australia. 
So much so, that the CEO of  a prominent foundation, Workforce Facilitator and his legal team, encouraged me to sue the state for compensation and damages. 
During that time, it was very poignant indeed, to be subjected to the scorn of any and all of my efforts and achievements, by both country, family and even some who presented themselves to me as friends...​
On 25 April , 2025 the DPD application to restore light and enlightenment to Ambae Island was consolidated with proposed endorsements from a Vanuatu Minister and Director General. 
Exactly 7 years after arriving in Australia.
Exactly 12 months after the commencement of a 40 day fast commenced on April 25, 2024.
7 years after the final eruptions of 2017/2018 that caused the evacuation of the entire Island.

Whilst I fully agree with DOGE and President Trump ending USAID and the 17 other NGO`s etc because of the nefarious funding and conditionalities that they propagated, it means that there needs to be a significant regrouping.
As a result, I will do the same.
In my case, from Australia for the next 12 to 18 months.
Two, maybe three mandates from South Africa also need to be attended to.
A significant property mandate from Vanuatu, an associated property initiative as well as one to address the shortcomings in the corporate sector with regards to shareholders agreements and corporate conduct also require attention so as to be positioned for the new era in USA Aid. 
Some government officials and members of parliament in Vanuatu also need to catch up with reality and get their act together. Especially with regards to the betrayal of the population`s cultural and religious demographics when it comes to accepting conditionality`s in Aid. Full and frank disclosure and transparency is key.
There are going to be very significant and extremely welcome changes going forward. 
The pivot away from an unbalanced association with a corporate introduced to Vanuatu was also very prudent indeed.

Possible de-registration of Vanuatu based ISPS

Should Vanuatu be unable to illustrate the ability to resist accepting aid from agencies intent on inculcating ideologies such as LGBT, gender dysphoria that do not align with the 94% christian demographic of the country, or, persist with the kinds of Obsessive Compulsive Regulation Disorder (as championed in Australia), DEI and Net Zero policies that have been jettisoned by most of the world`s population as a scam, then this business will not renew its licensing there.

This consultancy has existed for 40 years around the person of the founder and does not need to operate as a business entity, especially as most of the work has been pro deo or ex gracia in any event.

As for the charitable trust that it was planning to deploy in Vanuatu, that will in all probability now take the form of a foundation deployed in another jurisdiction.  As that aspect develops, this page will keep the currently identified potential donors posted. Please be patient. As things develop internationally, the time, as we all know, is not quite ripe for that yet.
